To give you a quick tour of this place, the “portfolio” section is a 30-project overview of my fave illustrations from the last decade, a mix of editorial, commercial, and personal work. The “shop” section includes dozens and dozens of my art prints, some of which are personal projects, and others that are reprints of illustrations of mine that have earned lives outside of their original context.
19 Lost Buildings of Manhattan 17x22” print ($60 CAD)

This is a 19-point chart showing Manhattan buildings of architectural, cultural, or social importance, all of which were bulldozed, destroyed, or burned out of existence between 1902 and 2017. This one was especially difficult to make. Very few places have destroyed as many storied skyscrapers as Manhattan, and some omissions (the impractically thin Gillender Building, for example) sting. On the other hand, some losses are so enourmously felt (the World Trade Center, Penn Station) as to demand inclusion. At least I could draw some sweet little facades (the Lenox Lounge, the old Radio Row Heins & Bolet Shop) to make myself feel better? Printed in an open edition, signed and dated on reverse.
