To give you a quick tour of this place, the “portfolio” section is a 30-project overview of my fave illustrations from the last decade, a mix of editorial, commercial, and personal work. The “shop” section includes dozens and dozens of my art prints, some of which are personal projects, and others that are reprints of illustrations of mine that have earned lives outside of their original context.
19 Lost Buildings of Phoenix 17x22” print ($60 CAD)

This is a 19-point chart showing Phoenix buildings of architectural, cultural, or social importance, all of which were bulldozed or burned out of existence between the 1920s and 2017. I remember when my assistant, Zinta, gave me a long list of demolished Phoenix buildings to choose from, and her notes on the Mountain Bell Building read “great if you like drawing rectangles.” I really, really, do. I’m also into the Phoenix Trotting Park, a space-age white elephant built west of Phoenix in Goodyear, used as a horse racing track for two seasons in the mid-’60s before laying vacant for decades and demolished. Printed in an open edition, signed and dated on reverse.
