To give you a quick tour of this place, the “portfolio” section is a 30-project overview of my fave illustrations from the last decade, a mix of editorial, commercial, and personal work. The “shop” section includes dozens and dozens of my art prints, some of which are personal projects, and others that are reprints of illustrations of mine that have earned lives outside of their original context.
20 Lost Buildings of San Antonio 17x22” print ($60 CAD)

This is a 20-point chart showing San Antonio buildings of architectural, cultural, or social importance, all of which were bulldozed, destroyed, or burned out of existence between the 1920s and 2015. I was especially impressed by the Federal Courthouse & Post Office that stood on the Alamo Plaza from 1890 to 1935. Some Reconstruction-era Southern post offices were built to look like impressive fortresses of the federal government. This one especially so. I’m also a fan of Rivas House and its signage when Sudden Cleaners occupied the building. Printed in an open edition, signed and dated on reverse.
