To give you a quick tour of this place, the “portfolio” section is a 30-project overview of my fave illustrations from the last decade, a mix of editorial, commercial, and personal work. The “shop” section includes dozens and dozens of my art prints, some of which are personal projects, and others that are reprints of illustrations of mine that have earned lives outside of their original context.
Environmental Toxins & You 17x19” print ($60 CAD)

This was originally a half-page illustration for the 31 May 2010 issue of the New Yorker, and it went with a column written by their medicine writer Dr. Jerome Groupman. The argument: the products of industrialized society emit many many things that may be hazardous to our health, from the shampoo we use to the buildings we live in and the cars we drive. We can see a little baby pram being stacked with the weight of modern industrial society, while mom and a microscope-bearing scientist begin cluing in to the costs. Printed in an open edition, signed and dated on reverse.
