To give you a quick tour of this place, the “portfolio” section is a 30-project overview of my fave illustrations from the last decade, a mix of editorial, commercial, and personal work. The “shop” section includes dozens and dozens of my art prints, some of which are personal projects, and others that are reprints of illustrations of mine that have earned lives outside of their original context.
Gastronomy & Economy 17x22” print ($60 CAD)

I spent most of early 2017 buried in Quebecois teacher and scholar Normand Baillargeon's À La Table Des Philosophes manuscript, exploring the link between philosophy, food, and how to best express that linkage via ten full-page chapter-starting illustrations. The whole set encompassed everything from gluttony, feasts, famines, food states, gastronomic news angles, etc., but this one focussed on whether to eat local or global, scientifically or primitively. Art direction was by Pierre-Antoine Robotaille, and you can order the hardcover (en francais seulement) from Editions Flammarion. Printed in an open edition, signed and dated on reverse.
