To give you a quick tour of this place, the “portfolio” section is a 30-project overview of my fave illustrations from the last decade, a mix of editorial, commercial, and personal work. The “shop” section includes dozens and dozens of my art prints, some of which are personal projects, and others that are reprints of illustrations of mine that have earned lives outside of their original context.
Hamilton on 30 October 1958 24” square silksscreeened  print ($80 CAD)

This is “City of Hamilton on 30 Oct. 1958,” the day the Burlington Bay Skyway opened to the public. This part of the series wouldn’t have happened if Dave from Mixed Media hadn’t convinced me that drawing Steeltown was mandatory. The centre of the map vertically would be James St., the main horizontal would be King Street and the image includes more than 65 specific Hamilton landmarks and buildings (including the birthplace of local “legend” musician B. A. Johnston). Screenprinted in an edition of 450, signed and editioned on reverse.
