Lost Buildings of Canada print series ($60-100 CAD ea.)
Since January of 2018 I've been immersed in the research and illustration of vanished Canadian architecture, and here we have the results: one dozen prints capturing our nation's prematurely bulldozed, burned down, or otherwise disappeared structures of note. Currently in the series: a deluxe "37 Lost Buildings of Canada" silkscreened print and a collection of smaller 17x22” prints that focus on Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Ville de Quebec, St. John's, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. Scroll down and you'll see them all. The research was intense and bittersweet, as it’s a tad depressing to dig through so many buildings of architectural, cultural, or social importance that disappeared well before their time. Also, it was impossible to include every building I would have liked, but each print includes names, facades, years standing, and dozens of hours of inquiry and illustration.
