"Cheese" print (1969)
"Cheese" print (1969)
On first glance, I didn't notice that the cheese round at top left is decorated with the word "Canada" on repeat, and the (uncredited) artist has included "gouda" and "cottage cheese" labelling on two other cheeses. Also of note: this is the only booklet we've seen with the publication info text at 90 degrees, and the interior of this booklet is heavily illustrated. Whoever drew this had a lot of cheese-drawing on their hands.
See also the Agricultural Arts' Apples print from 1970, which has enough of the same texturing style to suggest it was made by the same hand. I suggest them as a pair in both real life and on your wall.
