"Growing Herbaceous Perennials" print (1956)
"Growing Herbaceous Perennials" print (1956)
I'm going to admit it: we added Growing Herbaceous Perennials to the Agricultural Arts collection way later than we should have, simply because the other 1956 herbaceous perennials cover was so dang nice. Why overwhelm visitors with floral greatness? Today my answer is: why not? This beauty comes in a nice salmon pink, and if you splurge on the 24x36" version you'll get eyes full of halftone dots. It's a print that shows how it's printed. And of course, the original booklet was written by the Canadian Department of Agriculture's R. W. Oliver, who held the impressive title of Chief of Ornamentals.
A booklet cover reproduction available at 12x18" or 24x36" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Canada Department of Agriculture wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”Canadian Gardening News” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
