"Home Canning of Fruits and Vegetables" print (1965)
Home Canning of Fruits and Vegetables was originally published by the Information Division of the Canada Department of Agriculture as a 6x9" 24-page booklet, and it was republished and revised no less than eleven times between then and 1972. This gorgeous dark-green-on-yellow art is from the 1965 edition, and while it's uncredited, it's clearly by the same person who drew the 1969 edition of Thrifty Meals with Canned Vegetables.
It was quite easy get into shape for reprinting—I picked up a pristine copy from a collector and it was already beautiful. I slightly brightened the yellow, removed a few larger kitchen stains, and kept the dog-ear at bottom right for posterity's sake.
A booklet cover reproduction available at 12x18" or 24x36" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Canada Department of Agriculture wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”Canadian Home Economics” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
