Interesting maps of Edmonton that are in the public domain are a rarity, but the Canadian Department of the Interior has come through twice. First they made the 1915 map of Edmonton here, and then zooming back to make this expansive "Edmonton District" map fifteen years later. Dominion lands, main roads, townships, Coal mines, "other minerals," oil and gas wells, water power (developed and undeveloped), and power transmission lines are all indicated.
A reproduction available at 18x12" or 36x24" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. Based on this public domain image reprinted by the York University Digital Library.
