To me, this 1911 Truro map looks less like a turn-of-the-century city business guide and more like an invitation to an early 1980s arts college post-punk house party. Everything is askew, stark, and damaged, and at some point (either in reproduction or in scanning) a visual "stutter" repeats a small section of Inglis Avenue—note the double of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and you'll see what I mean. It's both a valuable reference to how Truro stood 120 years ago, and something else entirely.
A reproduction available at 16x12" or 24x18" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. Restored from this digital file found in the Nova Scotia Archives.
