My copy of this includes a giant fold-out blueprint and a foreword by the Rt. Hon. John G. Diefenbaker, and it's a treasure I'll be buried with. Hopefully not in fallout. It's a federal publication, but not by the Department of Agriculture—in Canada, civil defence was a bit of a hot potato, tossed between local, provincial and federal authorities as they all failed to do much. If you're interested in a more agricultural take on this subject, check out the 1961 Fallout on the Farm cover in this collection. For a deeper (and excellent) history on the subject, grab a copy of Andrew Burtch's Give Me Shelter: the Failure of of Canada's Cold War Civil Defence.
A booklet cover reproduction available at 12x18" or 24x36" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed.
